After enduring chemotherapy and radiation during the fall and winter, I am finally feeling comfortable in my skin. My health is in a good place now. My mind is clear and I can see a ray of hope.
I was diagnosed with a second bout of cancer while still in college earning a Bachelor of Science. Though It was difficult, I got accommodations and persevered. I am nearly done with school.
About the same time I had volunteered to be the missions committee treasurer. This was very hard until my mind cleared and my cancer treatments concluded. Now I am confident I can do the job because of the training I received during my health crisis. I am happy with the contribution I am making to the ministry of my church.
