Charitable goals

Charitable and relatable goals

The emotional benefits of giving are underrated. I’ve recently been writing in my new
Planner some ways I want to give this year, hoping to not only feel connected to
My fellow human beings, but to let go and not be a Scrooge. It doesn’t have to be
Christmas, it can be every day.
We all get appeals to give when we are reading our emails or scanning social
Media. We see it on TV. We may hear it in church, or see it in our snail mail- at
Least I do. Some actually hit home a little. I just realized it doesn’t hurt and might
Bless me to pitch in what I can, responsibly

Winter Energy

Winter energy

I’ve been setting goals and writing to do lists since Christmas.  It’s been a real shot in
The arm, like a burst of energy. I know what I want to do and how I am going to do
It. This is my solution to procrastination.
I’ve made some tangible progress decluttering some of the unused rooms in my
House. 1 box of thrift store donations of 2 and one bag of clothing have been taken
Out. Trash has been picked up. Recycling has also been removed. Space has been
Found in 2 different rooms. Slowly I am finding a home for items I’d just shuffled way back
In the attic and other rooms.
I’ve been using a planner I found online that really helps me to keep my life on track. It’s called the Christian Planner. The money I spent for it was worth it. I’ve got all my goals and aspirations in
One place. At glance I can see the roadmap of 2020.

Christmas 2019

This past Christmas was special because my mom has moved in and it was really a treat to celebrate the season as a family. It was fun to stuff our stockings with little gifts. We even had guest to share a meal, which my mom helped cook.
My favorite part of the day was handing Christmas cards to my husband and my mother, although they didn’t have cards for me. They were surprised, especially my husband who hasn’t bought me greeting card in years. It was cool to see the joy my cards gave them.
I’m glad to say I saved when buying presents for my family, which I found online. I redeemed Amazon gift cards and spent my Paypal balance on some nice finds.  I use Bing Rewards, Swagbucks, and the fitness app Achievement to earn money online.  I highly recommend using these legitimate and dependable income streams.

Get on your feet

I’ve been motivated to be active and now that I am actually feeling more alive these days instead of dead in depression, I actually feel up to the task of getting fit. I’ve used fitness apps for years but never have I been more involved in their participation.
I would like to share a motivational tool and income earner($10 per 10,000 points) I have been using lately.
It’s called Achievement. It is free to join but is a steady income stream as you daily weigh yourself, exercise, and get your steps in. You can also complete offers.
Now you need to connect to your Apple Health or My Fitness Pal apps to track your activities. I can testify as to the legitimacy of this app because I have earned and been paid $20 PayPal. You can also earn by referrals, so I hope you will join via this link:

Making time for my dream

I’ve gotten so bogged down with trying money online that I put aside my drive to create music and perform.
Now that I have decided to reclaim that drive, I now must make my music a priority. I have to fall in love with it again.
Practice is key and so is tuning into my stifled creativity. I have a genre focus, which is gospel; I am a church musician, after all. My original content will likely be tested in church. I have an audience.
Yesterday I got out my notebook and started writing lyrics. It’s a start. I rarely do it, but now it can be a new habit to make and part of my routine, like journaling.

Music is my new focus

In my attempt to find meaningful employment, I have inadvertently discovered weaknesses and flaws Of which I was unaware. I used to feel powerless to correct them and was tempted to give up trying. I was discouraged and had begun to lose hope of obtaining any form of gainful employment.
It wasn’t until I decided that I would focus on my strengths instead of my weaknesses that I saw a glimmer of hope for my future. Instead of trying to get just any job, I have decided to focus on my music career.
I have much more time and experience invested in my music; why not make a career out of it. Of course it will have to-be on my own terms that I will have to decide on like a business plan.

This is your life

Enjoy life as it is, don’t hate the life you have. You have one life; don’t waste it mourning your failures.  They are your education and enrichment if you will only learn from them. Use them as stepping stones to get where you want to be.
Don’t bask too long in the light of your success. Keep moving and keep striving to your goal.  Have at least a goal, a target. Don’t give up and don’t stop until you hit it.
Encourage others in reaching their goals. Can you help them?Share your treasures and time with people you meet on your journey to fulfillment.
You will gain more than you give.
